The innovative gripping mechanism holds and releases strapping with a vertical motion providing increased holding power and reduced wear. The heavy duty cutter reduces force required and extends cutter life. A patented windlass return machanism makes strap loading a breeze. Strapping shields keep the strap end from interfering with the sealing process.
